Best scent, best texture, best results—the lotion goes on great and absorbs quickly. The scent lingers lightly for several hours and doesn’t compete with other fragrances you may be wearing. The packaging is good…and did I mention the scent? One of my favorite products!
Back in the 1970s, a pair of lovely twins, just embarking on a modeling career, decided to open a makeup boutique. Their passion for perfume and cosmetics, their originality and entrepreneurial talents were stronger that their need to grace a catwalk. Thus, “The Face Place” was born – which turned into “Benefit.” Benefit products now grace the counters of boutiques in the San Francisco area, New York City, Harrods of London and Henri Bendels, to name a few. I discovered their “stuff” a few years ago and absolutely love their line. I usually order by catalogue but have now discovered that I can purchase Benefit from Amazon.
Benefit Bathina “Touch Me Then Try To Leave”… Cream is an all time favorite. The subtle, seductive scent and unbeatable blend of body softeners, will leave your skin feeling baby smooth and supple – and you feeling absolutely irresistible. Get rid of those reptilian, (ugh!), winter scales and hydrate your skin – summer’s coming! This is the BEST!! Highly recommended!
JANA
Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this cream. I read the reviews on here and thought it would be spectacular…but I ended up just being a little disappointed. I tried it a Sephora before I bought it, but figured I was just turned off because the “tester” was completely nasty. To play it safe, I only bought the small jar of the cream ($12 as compared to the $28 full size jar), figuring I’d go back and grab the full size jar if I liked it.
I’m not going to go back to get the bigger jar. While the texture of the cream is nice and does leave your skin feeling very silky and smooth at first, the feeling didn’t last too long on my skin. Also, I don’t like the scent. It is clean, but something about it just doesn’t click right with me.
If you’re looking for a great scent and an awesome moisturizer, try Victoria’s Secret Spa Whipped Body Cream ($18 for 6.7 ounces – so it’s cheaper and you get more). THAT scent is fabulous…you won’t need any other perfumes, and it leaves your skin with just a hint of radiance.
If you’re stuck on this Bathina product though, you may want to try it at Sephora before you invest.
