How to make paint brushes soft?

I have a few paint brushes that seem to have very hard bristle's, I need to know a method to make them soft. Only answer if you have a legit method.

If they have been used, then commercial paint brush cleaner works well although you may have to rake out the softened old paint with a fork or comb and you may have to tape or tie the bristles to reform them as they dry.
If they are new, then try soaking them in water or thinner, the latter only for natural bristle or hair to take out the starch put in to make them look better in the package.

*Avoid brushing wet hair. This will cause the hair to stretch and finally break. Finger-dry, or use a wide-toothed comb instead of a brush to gently remove the knots.
*Restrict blow-drying your hair. The process of blow-drying is harsh on hair as it robs it of moisture.
*Take a calcium supplement or drink two glasses of milk a day.
*Always hold hair dryer away from your hair. Direct air from the hair dryer down hair shaft and not directly into the roots and keep it moving.
*After a perm, never brush your hair. Instead comb hair gently.
*Trim your hair once in 7 weeks to avoid split ends.
*Never use a rubber band on your hair as it can pull and damage hair considerably.

What are the signs and symptoms of dandruff?

Herbal Treatment for Dandruff: -

*Massage scalp with essential oils like rosemary, cedar, lemon and eucalyptus to reduce flaking itchiness of the scalp.
*Methi seeds are also helpful in fighting dandruff. Soak them overnight, grind the next morning, mix in the juice of Neem leaves and apply on the scalp.
*In half cup of olive oil, put a small amount of camphor warm it lightly and apply to the scalp parting the hair straight and give a circular massage for the entire scalp.
*Avoid fatty foods and red meat.
* Another effective method to treat dandruff would be to combine 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice with 2 tablespoons of warm water. Dab this on the hair and keep it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Do this for once or twice a week to cure dandruff.
* Mix olive oil and almond oil in equal proportions. Leave it for about 5 minutes. Once a burning sensation is felt, wash the hair.
* Immerse two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. Grind them the next morning to form a paste. Keep it for half an hour before washing it with a ritha solution or shikakai.
* Conditioning the hair using cider vinegar after shampooing also acts beneficial in removing dandruff.
* Heat 300 grams of coconut oil with 3 grams of black pepper. Strain this decoction. Once cooled, apply this decoct on the hair and the scalp overnight.
*Beat two eggs and add two tablespoons of water to it. Wet the hair and apply the egg mixture over the hair. Now massage your scalp and let the mixture on for ten minutes to fifteen minutes. Then rinse the hair with lukewarm water. This will keep both dandruff and hair fall problem away from you.
