It seems I missed driving on county roads that were not plowed in time to prevent ice buildup similar to what I drove on in the Dayton Valley golf course subdivisions. Naturally someone called to point that out so I called the Lyon County Road Department to see what happened.

How do I clean my eye shadow brushes?

I let my eye shadow brushes soak in water over-night and dried them off with a paper towel this morning.It had absolutely no effect on them.How do you recommend I clean them? (Preferably without me having to buy some fancy dancy type of make-up cleaner....)

Stay away from alcohol and baby shampoo. Alcohol will cause your brushes to shed. Baby Shampoo is not gentle, it is just has the same ph level as your eyes (hence the 'no more tears'), it is actually drying. If you do not want to use a brush shampoo, you are better off using your own shampoo or face wash (as long as it is not medicated). Also, do not use hot water or soak your brushes, as both of these things can cause the glue to become loose!
