Clinique, Lancome???

I've never used any fancy brand name makeup before.
I'd like to, and i have the money for it, but i usually just use stuff like Revlon, Covergirl, ect. stuff from walmart.
What's the difference between the cheap stuff and the brand name stuff??
Im 15 and i dont need any "age fixing" makeup or anything.
Just a good coverup for under my eyes and maybe some powder, blush, and foundation.
Please help

I would reccommend the higher end cosmetics (lancome, clinique, estee lauder) for things such as powder, foundation, coverup only because the ingredients in them are a little more expensive and have a little bit more real texture to them. They also make you look more natural (becuase of the fact that they are not that thick) than covergirl, revlon, etc. BUT, that said...makeup such as eyeshade, eyeliner, lip liner, lipstick has mostly the same ingredients in them as higher end cosmetics. And are less expensive, which is always good. I would reccomend Benefits "BOINNG" for undereye cream...it's really good, natural and not very expensive. Lancome's powder is very nice and they have many different to choose from. Talk to a makeup artist at one of the counters, they can give you more details! makeup is fun!!
