Mineral oils are another commonly used substance that is not as good for your skin as you would think. They do coat your skin and retain moisture however they also clog pores making it difficult for your skin to eliminate toxins. This lead to skin blemishes and can encourage acne.

None of these ingredients are things you would willingly apply on a daily basis however use a product range that is not entirely natural and that is exactly what you are doing.

You are what you eat

Your diet can have a big impact on the condition of your skin as well as your general health. A healthy eating plan that includes plenty of brightly coloured fruits and vegetables will ensure that you are getting enough antioxidants into your system.
