here's my routine.
physicians formula organic wear tinted moisturizer
physicians formula organic wear pressed powder
maybelline mineral powder (the color is too dark, so i use it as a bronzer)
physicians formula organic wear blush
physicians formula organic wear matte finishing veil
l'oreal h.i.p. bright eyeshadow duo
neutrogena healthy volume mascara
it sounds like a lot , but i seriously use a little bit . i blend very well, and it looks EXTREEEEMELY natural!! lolz

im 15 and wear

Just for redheads mascara
Maybelline Shinylicious in Lolly Pink
and just a bit of bare minerals foundation in fair

Most women can benefit from using veils and finishing powders because it helps their makeup last throughout the day. Normal foundations start to wear off when facial oils start to accumulate. These small pockets of oil that form on the surface of your skin will wash away your foundation within hours. The products with a cornstarch base will have super oil absorbing properties and will help eliminate the these oils so that your coverage doesn't have a chance to wear off. Once you apply your makeup in the morning, including blush, take an extra minute to buff on mineral veil or a finishing powder. Here are some other points to remember when selecting your Mineral Veil or Finishing Powder:

- SPF or no SPF (sun protection factor)? Sun protection is a must to have for healthy skin. However, if you have a foundation with a high SPF, you might consider a finishing powder without it or a low SPF to save money. If you wear the mineral veil or finishing powder alone, then choose the highest SPF available. Prevention is the best policy to avoid sun damage.

- Super fine or thick textures? I prefer the extra fine textures for a finishing mineral because it applies in a thin layer, super silky to the touch and extremely light. Applying in thin layers will create a more natural look and feel of flawless skin then applying in one thick layer. Finishing powder and veil minerals usually differ from foundation minerals in that they are milled extra fine to give you a super silky application. Check with the company you are purchasing from to see how they mill it. Regular mineral foundations are much thicker in texture.

- Matte Mineral Veils or Sheer Mineral Veils? Depending on which look you want to achieve, you can choose a veil that is matte or sheer. Matte veils give you a soft focus finish while sheer veils give you a luminous, transparent glow. Look carefully at the label to see if it provides a description. If not, search through the ingredients for bismuth oxychloride or micas. Either of these natural minerals will give a luminous sheen to your skin. For days that I like the completely matte model look, I use the mineral veils without the sheen. For days I want a healthy glow, I use the veil with the luminous ingredients. Either way, finishing powders or minerals give a beautiful flawless look. Either matte or luminous veils will also extend the wear of your makeup for many hours by absorbing the natural occurring facial oils from forming on your skin.

- Clear Finishing Veils or Tinted Finishing Veils? Tinted mineral powders would be the best choice for those women who prefer to wear finishing powders alone. The hint of color will brighten up your face and give the appearance of a healthy complexion. Clear veils are wonderful to use over your foundation. It has no color and will not change your blush or existing shades on your skin. Some women with really good complexion choose to wear the clear finishing powders by themselves which will give a beautiful soft focus feel. If your skin has some blemishes or imperfections, spot conceal with a good mineral concealer and then apply the clear powder to get that flawless look.
