The reason they work so well is that they have two components, and when you shake the bottle, they combine and it breaks down the makeup. Just apply it to a cotton pad and swipe it all over your face. They might leave your face feeling a little oily, but just wash your face after with your usual face wash and that will go away. Both of these can be bought at the Lancome and Clinique counters at most any department store (usually i have success at macy's or nordstrom's) These are two that i really love:
