Why did so many hippies fall for that Eastern philosophy crap?

There are lots of baby-boomers out there, many of whom are aging or retiring hippies. Those in government spent their professional life of the last 30 years screwing up this country with their liberal public policies spawn from new age Eastern philosophy, feel-good BS. Was that a spontaneous conversion from Christianity, or was it a well directed propaganda from the purveyors of "cultural Marxism" ??

Well the Hippie movement was largely a rejection of MATERIALISM.

Hence they sought SPIRITUALISM of both Eastern Mysticism & Commune type Christianity.

Both these paradigms are inclined to the notion that 'inner' tranquility is achieved by suppressing PERSONAL desire. Which in EFFECT is placing Social concerns FIRST.

Which in turn ATTRACTS the Marxist / Socialist crowd, who also seek the absolute deference of self to society.

The Economic Vampire that is Marxism, was invited in.

This rejection of Materialism in favor of Spiritualism had a two fold consequence.

A) The Left views itself as ENLIGHTENED & so are unteachable.

B) The SUCK at materialistic Pragmatism,
deferring instead to the notion that good intentions are what really matter.
Trying means far more that any kind of substantive measure of succeeding.

To measure things in material or monetary success, is to be Materialistic & hence UNENLIGHTENED.

LIberals are the big beautiful spiritual sexy super race, beset by pale puny gun happy greedheads. Salvation lies in the arms of Gaia. The violence of nature is forgiven if you just apologize to whatever you've killed.

Why so many? Well to be honest, staring into the void is a b*tch. Humans ARE uneasy with the apparent 'pointlessness' of life. Spirituality, regardless of it's unnecessary dualism, is a balm to the desolate soul.

If Capitalistic Materialism is to prevail, it must address the frailties of the human spirit. If this is left a vacuum, he Marxist morons will set up camp.

What does really know your target and do just that? First, you must clearly define its target, or targets. This means you must know what it is, where it will come, when to do so, and the steps that take you to that end.

We will use the ant as an example. A goal is to collect ants feed the colony. That's the number one goal. Objective number two is to protect the colony. Not much nausea lolly around. To an ant, obtaining food is primary to threatened. So protection is paramount. This is survival.

Let's connect this with running a successful business or becoming an entrepreneur. Your first goal is to bring food or income, or raise. Nothing happened in the way of that. Make it a priority. Set aside your "income" time. Getting to that point before moving on to something else. In Network Marketing or Home Based Business, it is very easy to be distracted by other things. While working at home, there are children playing, wife or husband for help, things to clean or build, crying babies and activities that contribute to the income of the "production of" small. Do not let these on the road. Set your priorities and tackle them in order of importance.

Fine-tune your goals. Operate already there and as if it's happening. This is achieved through the display of its objectives. Once in the finish or the final destination is easier to see the steps to take to get there. You can start working figure back and things could not be otherwise anticipated.

And always, always, always be a master of one. In other words, not a jack of all trades and master of none. When you start a business, project or work, or do you first complete one of the most successful first before attempting to look elsewhere part. I've known people who have started three companies Home Based once! Guess what does not? They do not! It is the power behind the focus concentrates and channels. When directed to a goal, success happens!

So we are more and think more like the ant. Although it is pure instinct and nature of the ant, no doubt that the ant is thinking "food, food, food, food" all the while seeking. Definitely not thinking about the sexy queen ant met the other day. It is very focused on the target, and therefore a great success!
