Bareminerals (very expensive) eyeshadow???

I have super duper sensitive eyes (I use alma eyeshadow which is hypo-allergenic, and also "non-irritating" but it stills irritated my eyes). Is bareminerals eyeshadow worth it? It's kinda expensive.

i love bare minerals eyeshadows, you can layer, or blend them, ot wear with glimmers. i bought shadows 6 years ago, that are still not empty, not bad for 13.00. bare minerals is the perfect make-up, i is worth it, and it lasts a very long time, so it comes actually cheaper in the long run.

How to apply mineral eyeshadow? How to make it last longer?

I usually first apply Urban Decay Primer Potion. Then I would apply a medium layer of mineral eyeshadow (Everyday Minerals). But It will usually last about 3-4 hours only. Am I applying it incorrectly? Are their any other tips to keep my eyeshadow last all day?

I always use any kind of correction stick and cover my eyelid up to under my brow line. This is the kind of stick (in a tube like lipstick) normally used to cover discoloration under the eyes. There are several cosmetic companies that carry these (Maybelline, Almay, Rimmel) and come in various shades. I use a light beige hue.

In using this stick over the years, I have discovered that if I apply a coat of this first on my eye area, the shadow I put on over it stays perfect the whole day - minimal fading and/or gathering in the crease.

I am so tired of wasting a lot of money on makeup that makes me look overly done.

The eye shadows are so cool but more for going out, however they do have some subtle ones but the lipstic and blush are great for all times.

You just need to make sure you pick the right colour for you skin tone so it doesnt look too make up... I would suggest a blush not to far from your skin colour so it looks more like a natural blush and also a lip colour that doesnt stand out, just give u abit of a shine.

Our eyes are vulnerable to some diseases as we age. When we are over forty, we may suffer from presbyopia; when we are over fifty, we may suffer from Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), which can always lead to irreversible blindness. The scientists have not found such a method currently that can be employed in the cure of Macula Degeneration. But prevention is much important than treatment. Some very common methods can be used for the prevention of such diseases. Following are they.

We should first know what AMD is and what the cause of it is. Some bad habits can reduce the density of macula pigment. Such as, smoking and drinking alcohol can be very irritating for the macula; working under too bright light, as the sun and computer, can also reduce the density of the pigment. As mentioned above that lutein is very effective antioxidant substance which can help slow the process of macula degeneration. In this sense, it is very essential for us to intake foods that are abundant with lutein.

In fact, other materials can also help to slow the process of AMD. Thus, we should intake more other vitamins and mineral, while ingesting lutein.

Some eye doctors recommend that there are four substances that are vital for the health of our eyes.

The first one is, no doubt, lutein that is a kind of very effective antioxidant substance. It is very nice for us to use some lutein pills that are extracted from marigold plant. It is true that these pills are expensive, but effective.

The matter of fragility in the blood vessels can also be prevented by taking Bilberry in which flavanoids and anthocyanin are contained. Our eye muscles can be benefited a lot from this substance. Taking such pills everyday is essential.

Here's an example of a day look that you could do:

1.Take a silver shadow and apply it from your eyelashes to your eyebrow.

2.Then apply lavender from your eyelashes to just above the crease. Blend it well into the silver so you can't see a distinct line.

3.Then take violet and apply it in a "v" from the middle of your eyelid to the outer corner. Blend very, very well. You want it to look like a gradual change of color, not distinct lines.

4.Line your eyes with charcoal or dark gray eyeliner.

5.Apply mascara.

You can adjust the colors to be icy pink with fuschia, light and dark turquoise, gold and taupe, gray and bright blue, light blue and bright blue, silver and bright blue, taupe and green, etc. The list goes on and on.

Eyeshadow is not only used to add color to the eyes, but also as a way of enhancing the shape of the eye and accentuating them. Eyeshadow comes in many different forms and shades, and it can often be confusing as to which products might work best.

the best colour palette for blue eyes is pretty much brown, white, black, and blue.
apply black eye pencil in the water line and along the lash line on the upper lid. use white eyeshadow (just a little) under your eyebrows... it really highlights them. then if you want to, put on a little shimmery brown eyeshadow on the whole eyelid. some black eyeshadow on the outer corners of the eyelid is optional.
for the bigger eye look... rather than putting the black eye pencil in the water line, use a white eye pencil there and use black eye pencil along the lower lash.
dont forget mascara on the upper and lower lashes. and try a lash curler too!
