i personally only use bare minerals foundation cause I have break outs and the only thing that didn't break me out was this, now the mineral veil has no color it is sheer even if you buy the tinted one so you would need the foundation and finish off with the mineral veil, as for a primer they always break me out too, the best one is murad mattefier for oily skin it works wonders you would be so surprised how good this works for oily skin. hope I helped

Best SPF moisturiser or foundation for Oily Skin?

I have combination skin, in that my forehead and chin get (sometimes very!) oily by the middle or end of the day, whereas the rest of my face's skin is normal.
I would like to start using an SPF moisturiser or foundation, but the ones I have tried (Oil of Ulay and stores own brand) have been quite oily and made it worse.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation has some SPF, comes in many shades, and you can buy the formula made for "combo/oily skin." It doesn't make my face greasy. A tip though: don't put it on very heavily, as the foundation is actually quite thick. A thin layer works for me.

To control oil that does come through, use a large flufy brush to put on some oil control pressed powder after you apply your make up. I use Physician's Formula pressed powder.

I also carry with me Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets at all times. I just blot my shiny spots when I feel I need to, and it takes up all the extra oil, and it doesn't mess up my make up either.

I have quite oily skin and it can also be dry people say miracle touch and mineral foundations are the best one, but tomorrow i'm going to buy some new foundation.

I was going to get miracle touch, but i feel like it'll dry out my skin.. so i didn't get. Instead i got a higher end foundation - MAC "Mineralise" SatinFinish SPF 15 Foundation. I must say it is amazing. It moisturises yet at the end of the day my skin doesn't look oily/shiny. The coverage is good and the product is very long lasting as you don't need to use alot. The foundation also comes in a variety of different colours.

Even though the adage goes like "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder", it may not have the same importance nowadays. With different job patterns people use lot of makeup. Even though being jobless or having a job doesn't stop you from putting on the makeup.

But now, you often hear either a name like Kevyn's, or star artists Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier, who have their own cosmetic lines, or you witness a celebrity thank their makeup artist during awards broadcasts—either way, we are getting the message loud and clear that professional artists are lurking behind the famous faces we dream of having.

Now, for the quick makeup application tip. First, if you can do without foundation, skip it. Do not forget the moisturizer; your skin needs the extra moisture. If you cannot do without the foundation, the quickest way to apply the foundation is to dot your forehead, chin, nose and cheeks.

Unless you have facials on a regular basis DO NOT get one the week before your wedding day. Facials can pull impurities to the surface, and you do not want to break out the week of your wedding.

Use it all year long so you'll have color in every season; even if your makeup wears off half-way through the night, you won't be left looking pale.
